Nation Commemorates Bloody Sunday

Civil Rights

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Bloody Sunday, the day Civil Rights activists were brutally beaten by police on the Edmund Pettus Bridge as marched from Selma, Ala., to the state capital for the right to vote.  Thousands gathered recently to commemorate the march.  Newsvision’s Kofo Lasaki reports on the historic event.
