The abortion debate is one of the most controversial issues facing the country. On the 46th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court ruling which legalized abortion, the state of New York passed the Reproductive Health Act, one of the strongest abortion rights measures in the U.S. Supporters say the law is needed in the event the High Court reverses the landmark decision.
