NewsVision journalists in the Dept. of Media, Journalism and Film at Howard University, present their final 30-minute “live recorded” newscast. This “live recorded” 30-minute newscast focuses on a range of issues pertinent to the black community– from healthcare and the cannabis industry, to politics and celebrity alumni.

Students produced all editorial and technical content, and assumed all roles. The “Top Ten” broadcast journalism students are in Prof. Jennifer Thomas’ Spring 2019 cohort, and personify the Cathy Hughes School of Communications motto, “Excellence Without Excuse.”
