‘This Is Our Lunch Counter Moment,’ Rev. Yearwood of Hip Hop Caucus Says

It’s important for students know that “this is our lunch counter moment for the 21st century,” said Rev. Lennox Yearwood Jr., president and CEO of Hip Hop Caucus, a non-profit, non-partisan, multi-issue organization. Yearwood spoke to HU News Service reporter Trinity Kinslow during a “Power of the Ballot” session at the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago where he encouraged young people to become involved in the political process.
