Covering Your Community: Howard University Fall ’22 NewsVision Newscast

Capstone Seniors Self-produce Stories from Capitol Hill to Howard

By the Capstone Broadcast Journalism Fall ’22 Cohort

As 2022 comes to a close, the Fall 2022 capstone broadcast journalism class at Howard University looks at the issues affecting your community– from education and mental health, to the historic Midterm Elections, and the sports programs and highlighted events that make the Mecca great. The “Sensational Seven” NewsVision cohort covered stories from the White House and Capitol Hill, to the communities surrounding Howard. We hope you enjoy this newscast, which was solely produced and directed by the graduating NewsVision seniors under the direction of their instructor, Assoc. Prof. Jennifer Thomas, also the Journalism Sequence Coordinator in the Dept. of Media, Journalism and Film in the Cathy Hughes School of Communications.
