Prince George’s County, MD Executive Angela Alsobrooks, cast her vote Tuesday morning in a hotly contested race against former Maryland governor Larry Hogan for the U.S. Senate. Alsobrooks and her daughter, home from college to vote, arrived at Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School in Upper Marlboro, after 11am, and were greeted by supporters. If elected, Alsobrooks will make history as the first woman elected to Maryland’s congressional delegation and the third Black woman in the U.S. Senate.
