Issues in the Black Community: Mobile Showers Assist DC’s Homeless

Homelessness has been on the rise in Washington, D.C., disproportionately affecting Black communities. Mayor Muriel Bowser, along with local organizations, have enacted citywide plans to reduce the number of people experiencing homelessness while acknowledging the racial disparities.
