Carjacking and automobile thefts are occurring in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area at higher rates than ever before. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, there have been more than 80 carjackings as of February this year, with the crimes happening on average more than once per day. The MPD has established a carjacking task force and encourages all residents to be more aware. NewsVision reporter Summer Brown shares some useful tips.
