Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law Celebrates 60 Years

As Americans marked the 60-year anniversary of the March on Washington, another organization celebrated the same milestone. The Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law was formed in 1963 by President John. F. Kennedy to “move the struggle for the protection of civil rights from the streets to the courts.” As NewsVision’s Ginger Mattison reports, President Biden honored the group and renewed its call for action.
