Historic Currency Change Uncertain with Trump Administration

 

 

 

 

At the end of the Obama Administration, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew proposed a plan to incorporate women onto several U.S. currency notes. The first big announcement– replacing Andrew Jackson with abolitionist Harriet Tubman on the 20 dollar bill. Tubman, who led hundreds of slaves to freedom via the Underground Railroad, would make history as the first black woman in the U.S. to hold such an honor. But the plan may have hit a snag with the Trump administration. NewsVision's Tanasia Smith reports.
