A formal memorial service is scheduled for U.S. Representative Elijah Cummings on Thursday, October 24, one week after the longtime congressman passed away at age 68. The Maryland Democratic represented the state’s 7th District since 1996 and served as the chairman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee.
