When running for president in 2016, Donald Trump campaigned on a platform promise to curb illegal immigration and to “build a wall” that Mexico would pay for. While there has been less emphasis on that issue during his current bid for re-election, immigration has been a controversial and concerning topic for many during this election cycle.
