Springtime in the nation’s capital brings one of the city’s most iconic celebrations back to the National Mall, the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Over the last weekend of March, one of the most uplifting events kept all eyes on the skies. The free Blossom Kite Festival on the grounds of the Washington Monument, brought together families, friends, and competitors.
