Howard University welcomed Homecoming 2021 weekend with a tribute that many say was long overdue. Howard alumna and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. founder Lucy Diggs Slowe was honored for her pioneering work in education, philosophy, sports, and the advancement of women. The university joined the Lucy Diggs Slowe Society on Friday, October 22 for the renaming. HU News Service Micah Washington has the story.
