The Howard University Center for Women, Gender, and Global Leadership at Howard University had its inauguration at the Louis Stokes Library. The Center is an interdisciplinary, student-centered, faculty-led institute that works with professional programs in health, business, communications and law, as well as majors in the arts and sciences. The inaugural event featured a series of guests including Fortune 500 company CEO, Thasunda Brown Dockett. NewsVision reporter Desiree Williams Chin was there.
