As Rhasheema A. Sweeting rattled off the country’s major newspapers, her eyes grew big with the thought of working for The Boston Globe, The Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times.

Sweeting, a senior print journalism major student at HowardUniversity, is well on her way, and her resume shows that she is on top of her game.

She is currently serving as Managing Editor of The Hilltop. This summer, she finished an internship on the business desk of the Chicago Tribune, where she landed on A1 twice. Last spring, she completed an internship at the Washingtonbureau of The New York Times and was also the business and technology editor for The Hilltop. She also is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Alpha Chapter.
