Snow-filled winter of 2013-2014 continued this week s in the D.C. area as six to 12 more inches of snow fell March 16 and 17. The accumulations are still short of record snowfalls at the three area airports where official snowfall totals are taken. The latest snow cover should be melted by the March 22.
