President Trump’s nominee to the Supreme Court, Amy Coney Barrett, is expected to be confirmed just over a week before Election Day. Barrett’s confirmation would give the High Court six conservative members and three liberals, leading many in Congress to considering an effort to balance the court by increasing its size.
