More than 30,000 federal workers have been terminated from their positions as part of Trump ally Elon Musk’s “DOGE” plan to streamline the government. Thousands of other employees who were taking part in telework or remote since the pandemic, are now being ordered to return to the office, including many in the nation’s capital.
