As many Americans rushed to the polls to vote in person on Election Day, others took a moment to recognize and celebrate the potentially historic day. If Vice-Presidential candidate Kamala Harris and Joe Biden are elected, the U.S. Senator and Howard alumna will embody many firsts in this country, including becoming the first woman so close to the presidency.
