The COVID-19 pandemic abruptly canceled plans for Howard students to take part in its annual and highly-anticipated NYC Media Tour. With the pandemic continuing to force students to attend classes virtually, the journalism faculty in the Department of Media, Journalism and Film decided to use the virtual platform to their advantage– hosting 13 organizations in a two-day event online.
