Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Howard University was forced to cancel this year’s homecoming. However, this did not prevent students, faculty, and alumni from celebrating. The university held multiple virtual events which included Yardfest and a Call to Chapel. All the of the week’s events represented the 2020 homecoming theme, “Advocacy.” NewsVision’s Samantha Chaney reports.
