When Ketanji Brown Jackson was in high school, she told her guidance counselor that she wanted to attend Harvard. That counselor reportedly told the aspiring attorney not set her “sights so high.” Today, Judge Brown Jackson stands to be the 116th Associate Justice and the first Black woman to sit on the High Court.
