Company Markets Nutritional Supplements for Blacks

After the controversial release of Bidil, the first medicine ever approved for a specific racial group, Black Health Solutions, a new health and wellness company, announced the launch of Core Essentials Nutrition.

Core Essentials Nutrition, a new product line of vitamin and nutritional supplements, is designed to help meet the health needs of African Americans. The Core Essentials Nutrition product line includes standard multivitamin and multi-mineral formulas developed to help meet the dietary needs of African Americans.

The products offer varieties for the gender groups and various age groups. The wellness products are said to help address many common health problems in the African American community, including high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, and poor nutrition.

In addition, CEN offers nutritional supplements such as meal replacements, energy drinks and sports drinks. Core Essentials Nutrition products are currently being sold on their website with hopes to expand sales.

Black Health Solutions asserts that it is an innovative health and wellness company created specifically to help meet the needs of African Americans. Leveraging the experience of its founders, Black Health Solutions is said to be a new leader in ethnic driven products, and commands a firm position as a company that caters to the demanding health and wellness needs of African Americans.

Black Health Solutions states that it was established with the objective of developing nutritional products, wellness products, and information services. BHS believes that it is the premium quality of their products, along with their exclusive packaging, that makes them the most unique health and wellness brand in the industry today.

"The health issues that challenge the African American community are numerous and daunting. We face more health risks than any other ethnic group. What’s more, due to lack of awareness, lack of access to information, and poor lifestyle choices, the African American community finds itself generally in poorer health, and subject to diseases in disproportionate numbers in the United States," says Barry Williams, president of BHS.

The BHS mission is to provide quality nutritional and wellness products and offer solutions so that African Americans from all walks of life can enjoy the benefits of good health.  They hope to accomplish this by offering information aimed at educating consumers on illnesses and diseases that are most common among African Americans, providing nutritional supplements to balance the daily intake of food, giving consumers a greater appreciation of healthy living, and emphasizing the importance of personal care.

Studies show that African Americans face more health risks than any other ethnic group. What’s more, due to lack of awareness, access to information, and poor lifestyle choices, the African American community finds itself generally in poorer health, and subject to diseases in disproportionate numbers in the United States.

Core Essentials Nutrition products offer a selection of nutritional products with competitive prices.  They are said to be uniquely blended and formulated to meet the health needs of African Americans. CEN claims that greater benefits will be seen from their products than generic brands and over the counter vitamins.

Core Essentials Nutrition products are designed to aid in the treatment of common conditions, and supplement an overall approach to good health. CEN alleges that these products are not intended to be a substitute for medicines prescribed by a medical doctor. They strongly recommend that consumers consult their physician prior to consumption of any supplemental health products.

"While working with our team of doctors, we have created products that are guaranteed to deliver results. And this is just the beginning of our plans. Our mission is to provide education, action strategies and resources to African Americans to help them improve their health throughout their lifetime," Mr. Williams said.
