Howard Journalism Students Get Hands On Experience At CNN Academy

Learning the ins and outs of the news industry can take years. Fortunately a few Howard University Media, Journalism and Film students received a head start. Four members of the Howard University Association of Black Journalists attended the weeklong CNN Academy Bootcamp at the network’s world headquarters in Atlanta. They were among 88 students from 19 universities to get hands on experience and learn from CNN experts. As NewsVision’s Jada White reports, diversity was an important aspect of their experience.
