Peace for D.C. is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to accelerate efforts to reduce shootings, homicides, and heal trauma within the city. One of the organization’s programs, D.C. Peace Academy, is training community leaders in conflict resolution and de-escalation, aiming to build a safer, more united city.
