Five years ago, the nation paused around their televisions, witnessing the violent January 6th insurrection. Now, the nation is stopping to watch the journey of 19 Buddhist monks walking 2,300 miles across the country with a message of compassion, nonviolence, and peace. NewVision’s Khariss Bender spoke with faith leaders, and even one of the 19 monks to examine what nonviolence looks like today.
