First Lady Jill Biden hosted the cast and creators of the political drama series “The West Wing” in honor of the show’s 25th anniversary. When it premiered, “The West Wing” was well regarded for how it showed the inner workings of the most powerful office in the nation, while also showing appreciation for government workers. The First Lady, actor Martin Sheen, and the show’s creator, Aaron Sorkin, spoke at the event, evoking the hopeful politics that defined their show.
