“A Different World” – the sitcom, based on a fictional Black college called Hillman, was a defining factor for shining a positive light on HBCUs and increasing HBCU enrollment. More than 30 years since the show first aired, the show is still a fan favorite. The cast is on a nationwide tour and Howard university’s campus is still buzzing after its much-anticipated Hillman Day. Here’s NewsVision reporter Jakeria Haynes with the story.
